Donald Trump won the US election on three issues – immigration reform, fair trade and getting out of foreign wars.
Trump’s policy of exiting foreign wars is going to have the maximum impact on India.
The US has decided to exit Afghanistan. The whole country will be soon run by Pakistan backed Taliban. Once Pakistan stabilizes it’s border with Afghanistan, it will focus on it’s border with India.
The same story will happen when US withdraws from Syria and then Iraq.
US has decided to leave the global security architecture it had created. This will put the responsibility of security heavily on India. We will have to finally fight our own wars. We will have to take care of our own security.
Indians will have to realize that the global security architecture has changed. And India will have to take responsibility of security of India, Indian Sub-continent, South-east Asia, Russia, Middle-East and Africa.
